Pasteurellosis is a bacterial zoonotic disease caused by Pasteurella genus. Pasteurella multocida is the most commonly species infected humans. Pasteurella multocida can also infect cattle, poultry, swine, rabbits, and pets. Pasteurella infection in cattle is an opportunistic infection. The bacteria are normally found in the upper respiratory tract, but disease occurs when the animals’ normal defenses are compromised. The «Pasteurella qPCR kit» is intended to detect P. multocida DNA in tissues, swabs, feces and cultural material, which is rapid, accurate and easy-to-operate. The test kit «Pasteurella qPCR kit» is designed for multiplexed detection of the specific to Pasteurella multocida DNA (ulaR gene), according FDA validated protocol, and Internal Control (16 S) gene as sample processing control by real time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) with fluorescent detection of the analysis results.
